If you are using this platform on behalf of a Rotary Club, Rotaract Club, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.
2. Description of the Platform
Impact3780 serves as a specialized digital ecosystem for RI District 3780, designed to:
- Facilitate strategic goal tracking and reporting for clubs and district leadership.
- Host fundraising campaigns, community service projects, and event registrations.
- Enable secure donations and financial contributions toward authorized Rotary causes, community initiatives, and The Rotary Foundation (TRF).
- Amplify impact stories, newsletters, and announcements across Quezon City-based and district-affiliated clubs.
3. User Accounts & Security
- Eligibility: Users must be members of a recognized Rotary or Rotaract club within District 3780, or authorized stakeholders, partners, and donors.
- Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and account dashboard. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
- Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep your profile updated.
4. Donations, Contributions, and Payments
- Voluntary Contributions: All donations and financial transactions made through the platform are voluntary and intended to support humanitarian projects, community programs, and district operations under Rotary International guidelines.
- Refund Policy: Because funds are promptly allocated to active community projects, disaster relief, or designated Rotary funds, donations are generally non-refundable. Refund requests for erroneous transactions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the District 3780 finance team.
- Payment Processing: All online payments are processed through secure, third-party payment gateways. District 3780 does not store complete credit card or sensitive financial details on its servers.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
When using our platform, you agree not to:
- Violate any applicable local, national (Philippine laws), or international laws and regulations.
- Post, upload, or transmit any fraudulent, defamatory, obscene, harmful, or unauthorized content.
- Attempt to bypass security controls, hack, interfere with, or disrupt the platform’s infrastructure, databases, or AI-assisted features.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with any Rotary Club, Rotaract Club, or District 3780 leadership role.
- Use automated scripts, scraping tools, or bots to harvest data from the platform without explicit written authorization.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
- District & Rotary Assets: The “Rotary” name, the Rotary wheel logo, District 3780 branding, text, graphics, user interfaces, logos, and software code are the intellectual property of Rotary International, RI District 3780, or its respective licensors.
- User Content: By submitting impact stories, photos, or project notes to the platform, you grant District 3780 a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to publish, edit, and display such content for non-profit promotional and reporting objectives.
7. Limitation of Liability
The platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RI District 3780, its officers, club leaders, developers (including MetaConnect Services), and partners disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
District 3780 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of—or inability to use—the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted directly on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the platform following any modifications constitutes your explicit acceptance of the updated terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
